Adèle, Alexie and Karelle finish a particularly difficult math assignment with a big ouf! Alexie throws out an Acadian expression that her friends have never heard before, prompting the three girls to find other colourful French expressions and words of foreign origin.

Adèle tells Elliot and Emma how much she already misses the festivals in Montreal. Emma and Elliot cheer her up by telling her that there are great Francophone cultural events across the country, including in the National Capital Region, Ottawa.

Boris takes advantage of Emma and Maya's help to prepare for his geography test. He tells an anecdote that happened to him at school, which leads to a lively discussion about the history of the various struggles to preserve French-language education in Canada.

Boris, Elliot and Emma have fun filling out the same questionnaire on Francophone identity, an exercise that leads them to react, exchange and reflect on the different components of their identity and the global Francophonie.

Dorian is excited to share with Boris and Maya that his cousin Loïc, from Gabon, will soon be coming to live with him and his family in Toronto. The trio then explores how the Canadian Francophonie has been shaped by various waves of immigration.

Elliot is rehearsing a passage from Molière's play 'Le Bourgeois gentilhomme', where the Master of Philosophy is giving a diction lesson. He rolls the R, which makes Karelle and Boris laugh. A discussion ensues on the various accents in the Canadian Francophonie.
