Arabelle, 12 years old, lives in the Ottawa area, the capital of Canada. If the Canadian winter is a bit harsh, the entertainment is not. Arabelle shows us the joys of winter in Gatineau Park, a wildlife reserve near Ottawa, an ideal place for snowshoeing in the forest. Then, during Ottawa's winter carnival, Winterlude, Arabelle takes us skating on the longest skating rink in the world, the Rideau Canal.
