Lucas and his aunt Renee spend the afternoon together and go for a walk in the park. Lucas goes to play ball with Victor while Renee rests on a bench. The boys throw the ball back and forth, not caring about the flowers they step on, the branches they hit, the birds they disturb, or a family of ducks they separate. Célestin asks the boys to respect this little corner of nature preserved in the heart of the city and the animals that live there.
