warning
Expires on:

André Laurendeau, a Quebec journalist and intellectual, did not believe in the separation of Quebec. He was a nationalist and believed that the French-Canadian people were the second founding people of Canada, and that they should have a status as such. He was editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper Le Devoir and host of 'Pays et Merveilles', a program broadcast on Radio-Canada in the 1950s.
