Mouk and Chavapa visit their friend Tucson and his mother Sedona, who works in Utah. She casts dinosaur footprints with resin to make copies for display in museums. Chavapa, fascinated by dinosaurs, wants to see that at any cost. But suddenly Lucy, Tucson's pet lizard, escapes and everyone starts looking for her...
