The purpose of this video is to initiate students to the art of poetry by teaching them how to write a poem. In this video, I show that poetry is a form of personal expression that allows us to share feelings and ideas or tell stories. What is a poem, what is a stanza, what is a verse, what is a rhyme, and what is rhythm?
