warning
Expires on:

Since 1993, March 31 has been known as National Indigenous Languages Day. Indigenous peoples in Canada celebrate this day to honour the strength and endurance of their languages and cultures. Language is a vital tool for Indigenous peoples as it plays a key role in transmitting values, spiritual and traditional beliefs and their entire history from generation to generation.
