Legend has it that the origins of coffee lie in Ethiopia: in the 8th century, a shepherd is said to have discovered its exciting virtues thanks to the leaps of one of his goats having eaten the fruits of a coffee tree. Today, coffee remains at the heart of the Ethiopian economy, but it has also traveled a lot. Its globalized production enriches unequally the small producers of the South and the industrialists of the pod in the North.
