Bagages

Bagages is a documentary made with young immigrants from Paul-Gérin-Lajoie d'Outremont high school. This film gives voice and stage to young people between the ages of 12 and 17 who arrived in Montreal less than two years ago. These young people share their stories of migration and adaptation through drama workshops and theatrical productions. They are young, but they speak of their journey with a disconcerting wisdom, an emotion that would make even the toughest of people tremble and a disarming authenticity. These young people bear witness to an 'elsewhere' and a 'before' that will become 'here' and 'now'.
