La Fête du Partage

Following a violent storm, a fire ravages the forest clearing. Edmond and Lucy discover that some species are able to survive and even thrive on burnt soil.

Hortense and Polka know all about the living species in the forest thanks to their encyclopedia. They soon learn that the encyclopedia is out of date, as nature evolves and some species change their habits.

A thick fog sets in and Edmond and Lucy lose their way in the forest. Thanks to a chestnut they believe to be magical, the heroes regain their strength and courage.

Edmond and Lucy discover how the ivy plant receives energy from the sun and gives it back to the earth every four years.

It's the shortest day of the year. Edmond and Lucy try to lengthen the day by lighting lanterns, without realizing that they are harming the animals in the forest.

Lucy and Edmond set up a toy hideout in a hollow tree by the river, unaware that it is a hare's shelter. When the hare hooks its hind leg, the friends have to find it to avoid injury.

Edmond and Lucy had an incredible day yesterday and are dreaming of the same today. They soon learn that nature has new surprises in store every day.
