Océana

In this episode, discover the life of 12-year-old Océana, who lives in Embrun, Ontario. Through her story, we explore her municipality and its history, as well as the town's ties to France, while taking a family ride on the New York Central Recreational Trail in Embrun.

In the cultural segments, Océana introduces us to the traditional flag of Martinique and its best-known traditional dance, the bèlè, which has a rich history. In addition, this future director will create a tutorial on how to make a maré tèt, a traditional head scarf, which was an essential part of women's lives in Martinique. She also talks about Martinican hot chocolate, traditionally prepared for first communions in the past.
