Zadara
Zadara is a 10-year-old girl from London, Ontario. She's a proud Jamaican-Canadian who attends a French immersion school, but whose parents speak only English. She loves dancing and spending quality time with her family! Zadara introduces us to her parents and three younger siblings at the fire station. Her father is a firefighter and takes us on a tour of his workplace.
Zadara also welcomes us to her home, where she loves to play with her brothers and sisters. You can always find them playing the piano, swinging on gymnastic bars and dancing to their favorite songs. In Zadara's room, she explains that her greatest dream is to become an actress and one day win an Oscar! We also discover her love of animals, especially horses! Zadara takes us to the Circle Farm Ranch where we meet farm animals and where she goes horseback riding. Then it's time to eat! Zadara heads to her great-aunt's Jamaican restaurant. We meet her great-grandmother and they get to work in the kitchen preparing jerk chicken, plantains and festivals!
