The children's favorite hollow tree has been mysteriously marked with a white cross. After investigating, Pompon and his friends discover that Castorovitch is planning to cut it down and use it as wood for his dam. Motivated, they set out to save their beloved tree, only to discover that nature has more than one trick up its sleeve.
