Lecture en action - L'activisme au féminin et toi!
Female activism highlights young activists, like Greta Thunberg, who fight for vital causes such as social justice, the environment and education. Malala, survivor of a Taliban attack, defended girls' education and won the Nobel Peace Prize at the age of 17. Autumn Peltier, at the age of 8, began campaigning for access to drinking water in indigenous communities and became a central figure in environmental justice. Perle-Mérode Kabambi, a grade 11 student, affirms that defending equity is a civic obligation requiring the commitment of all. The involvement of young people is essential to changing social norms and ensuring an equitable society. These young women show that everyone can get involved to support important causes and contribute to a fairer world.
