Intended for teachers only. Are given outside of class times.
Description
At the secondary level, oral communication is about more than just speaking: it’s about leading students to interact, argue, and position themselves as citizens of the Francophone world. This workshop offers a pedagogical approach to evolve student speech from personal narration toward the expression of structured opinions.
Drawing on resources that explore contemporary Francophonie (such as the Kapsur series or Sur les routes de la francophonie), you will see how to fuel authentic discussions on current issues. Together, we will address the three CEFR oral competencies (listening, production, and interaction) to help students bridge the gap from A2 toward B2 levels.
Key Action-Oriented Task: This workshop will equip you to launch your students into a media production, such as a mock televised debate, an opinion-based video clip, or an interview-style podcast. These projects will allow your students to develop critical thinking and confidence in French through stimulating technological challenges.
