French en Amérique (documentaires et capsules)

How can we keep the minority French language alive? How can we transmit our culture and make it shine in our community? Who are these men and women who have changed the face of French in America? This series is composed of two documentaries that present the evolution of the French language in North America as well as its key figures, while season 2 of the series includes a series of amusing animated video capsules entitled: Tsé veux dire? They introduce us to some of North America's most eccentric and amusing French expressions.

This series focuses on identity reflection, collective consciousness, Francophone minorities, the transmission of Francophone identity, pride and understanding of Francophone cultural heritage. It can serve as a reflection, understanding and anchor for lively discussions in class!
