The Ma monnaie series seeks to stimulate children's and students' prior knowledge of Canadian coins and bills. Are they all the same? How do we tell them apart? The episodes in this series provide the essential knowledge needed to explore Canadian coins with kindergarteners. In addition, Grade 1 students will learn to name Canadian coins and differentiate between them based on their appearance and monetary value.
