Jamais trop tard pour apprendre le français!
Wilma Steel and Dolly Pigeon, two Blind River retirees, decided three years ago to learn French, partly so they could communicate in the language of Molière with their grandchildren.
For Dolly, it's also a return to her roots in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and a way of honoring her French-speaking mother.
So, five times a week, they meet over a cup of tea to learn together in front of the computer. A beautiful story of friendship and perseverance, and proof that it's never too late to learn French.
