La Loi sur les langues officielles selon Keith Spicer et Serge Joyal
To mark the 50th anniversary of the Official Languages ??Act, ONFR + offers you a series of commemorative reports. We are inaugurating the celebrations with an interview between two privileged witnesses to the early days of the Act: Keith Spicer, the very first Commissioner of Official Languages, and Serge Joyal, pro-Francophone Liberal MP at the time, now a senator. The two men first take us behind the scenes of the past, in the infancy of the Official Languages ??Act in 1969, to then offer their own perspectives on its turmoil, its breakthroughs and its symbolic meaning, from yesterday to today.
