Across the world, the reality of women is overwhelming. They are paying the price of globalization by being the most affected by poverty and unemployment. For them, hope is coming with the development of projects. In Brazil, Turkey and Cambodia, such initiatives have emerged. The psychologist Dilma Felizardo, in Brazil, has developed a scientific approach that gives street women the tools to break the cycle of poverty. Meanwhile, the activist Halime Güner, continues her fight for greater autonomy and independence of Turkish women, through media and entrepreneurship projects. Cambodian Somaly Mam, takes care of young women devastated by sexual slavery. These three women are doing their utmost to ensure the safety, health and independence of their fellow citizens and to give them a horizon.
