Éviction immédiate

Determined to fight the eviction, Karine invites the other residents of the building to an emergency meeting. Manu, for her part, is already dreaming of moving into a larger, more modern apartment. During the meeting, Karine confides in the other tenants about her difficulties as her daughter's world is turned upside down.

Manu arrives at Kim and Patrick's house out of breath and in a panic. One thing is certain: she must find a way to stay in Toronto. Kim, a budding hacker, finds the business address of David Blackburn, the real estate developer. She suggests that Manu and Patrick go there to confront him.

After her little nocturnal escapade that got her into trouble, Manu is deprived of going out and has her phone confiscated. Karine decides to take the high road and sell some of her personal belongings to pay part of the legal fees. Manu is discouraged by all this, but fortunately, Kim has more than one trick up her sleeve to help her…

While doing her community service hours at a center for homeless women, Manu has an unexpected encounter. On her way home, she meets Patrick who was waiting for her impatiently. Back home, she is greeted by Karine, furious to learn that her daughter has taken steps to save their apartment block without consulting her.

After her video was shared thousands of times, Manu was invited to be interviewed for Franco-Ontarian TV, but at the last minute, a new intervention from David Blackburn prevented her from doing so. Manu, angry and powerless, decides to play hooky and go alone to meet David Blackburn.

With Matthew Blackburn's research documents in hand, Manu, Kim and Patrick unravel the files to save the apartment block. As she prepares to leave the house, Manu receives a disturbing call that prompts her to go looking for her neighbour.
