Ne me quitte pas!

The children discuss the work Mature Age by Camille Claudel. This sculpture represents a painful moment in Camille's life: a breakup in love. Claudel was very talented and she was the assistant of Augustin Rodin, the artist who made the famous 'Thinker'. Camille and Augustin fell madly in love and it is this breakup that is the cause of this work. All of Claudel's creations are very lively, in motion, almost unbalanced.
