In this episode, the children discuss the work Nude in an Interior by Pierre Bonnard. In this work, there is a naked woman halfway through the wall of a colorful apartment. Pierre loved to spy on his wife in private moments and paint her in his paintings. His colorful painting style is derived from the Nabi movement. The Nabi style was invented by a small group of French painters, including Pierre, about a hundred years ago, at the end of the nineteenth century. The principle is to break away from the rules of classical painting to represent reality. Bonnard and his Nabis friends do not necessarily paint the colors of real life, but those of their dreams, their impressions.
