In this episode, the children discuss Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi's Statue of Liberty. This woman, with a crown on her head and a torch in her hand, symbolizes freedom. Its creator is Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, a very famous sculptor of the nineteenth century. To mark the friendship between his country, France, and the United States, he was looking for a gift idea. For this project, Auguste surrounded himself with the best, like Gustave Eiffel. The statue was inaugurated on October 28, 1886.
