In this video, students learn how to express measurements using fractions. To do this, each unit is divided into equal parts. I use graduated lines to represent the divisions. Next, measurements are coded in the form of fractions. It is then possible to measure different quantities: I drank 2/3 of my bottle, I completed 1/4 of the journey, etc. Using a graduated line also makes it easier to compare fractions and rank them.
