Hugo writes a song that he can't finish, despite Octave's help. Dario and Mr. Lavoie have trouble finishing a repair job because Bémol keeps bothering them and Léa has a solution for every problem... Except that no one seems to want to listen to her!

The heat makes Hugo uncomfortable and when he sees that Lea treats him like a baby to cool him down, he has fun making his pleasure last. Meanwhile, Mrs. Toubon shows Dario how to make 'cold' cookies. When Léa discovers Hugo's ploy, she prepares a surprise.

Bémol and Octave are very disturbed to see Mrs. Toubon crying. All the occupants of the Hipalouparc join together to rehearse a play to restore her good mood. Those who thought they were surprising her were surprised when Mrs. Toubon revealed what was making her cry.

While succumbing to his gluttony, Hugo stains his white ghost costume with a piece of pizza. Bémol goes to the Hipaloulas' lair and, in horror, discovers a ghost. Panicked, Bémol is convinced that there is a ghost in the park. Octave tries to reassure him, but to no avail.

While Dario struggles to learn to whistle, Hugo is disappointed to find that Mr. Lavoie has removed his favourite park bench. Dario and Hugo find the solution to their problem thanks to Octave and Bémol's antics to make friends with a rather silent character who has just arrived in the park: the scarecrow!

A game of hide and seek goes wrong and Octave and Bémol sulk. But real friends don't stay mad for long. All it takes is a little time, good will and a game where everyone agrees to have fun by following the rules and voilà: their good mood is back!

The medal that Mr. Lavoix won at the Park Warden Olympics is what Octave dreams of. While everyone is trying to come up with a surprise for Mr. Lavoix, Bémol is secretly making another surprise for his best friend.

Octave and Bémol want to learn to play an instrument but they have difficulty getting good advice from the Hipaloulas who only praise their own instruments. Encouraged by Mr. Lavoie to create their own instrument, Octave and Bémol end up inventing one that even manages to put Mr. Lavoie to sleep when he can't sleep.

Octave feels abandoned when Bémol prefers to play with his imaginary friend rather than with him and his collection of pine cones. But with the help of the Hipaloulas, Octave gets to the bottom of the situation, saves his collection, finds his friend and even makes a new one: an imaginary friend named Carlo.

In order to allow Mrs. Toubon to join her sister, Léa and Hugo offer to decorate the garden for her... except they don't know how to do it! When Dario tries in vain to help them, he needs the unexpected help of Octave and Bémol who will find a solution to the problem of decorating the garden.

Dario and Léa have trouble finding a way to read silently because Hugo plays the drums all the time. Mrs. Smith is preparing to bake baguettes with Octave and Bémol. By helping Mrs. Toubon bake the baguettes, Dario and Léa will know how to calm Hugo's temper.
