Blue Hibou is the musical encounter between Kim Barlow and Hélène Beaulieu. The creation of the folk duo in Whitehorse, Yukon, a few years ago resulted in their first self-titled album, which was celebrated by critics across Canada last winter. Invited to the Queen City, the two musicians with their lovely linguistic duality share their passion for folk music and lyrical imagery. Follow them as they fly kites and make origami in Trinity-Bellwoods Park, and enjoy an acoustic session in an unusual musical instrument museum.
