After making the connection between decimal fractions and decimal numbers, this video gives techniques for comparing and ordering decimal numbers. The first step is to compare the whole numbers and then, in case of equality, to compare the decimal numbers (tenths, hundredths, thousandths, etc.). The technique remains the same for arranging numbers in ascending and descending order. I also point out that the 0's added to the end of the decimal part can be deleted or added without changing the number.
