Le peuple de la rivière Kattawapiskak

Attawapiskat First Nation, a Cree community in northern Ontario, was brought into the limelight in 2012 when the deprivation of life on their reserve became a topic of national debate. In this documentary, the Abenaki director Alanis Obomsawin discreetly captures the stories of this community, highlighting a past of dispossession and indifference on the part of the official powers.
