When 16-year-old Manuela and her family are threatened with eviction from their apartment by a homebuilder, she decides to take matters into her own hands and fight in her own way to stay in her neighbourhood. This series takes an honest look at difficult issues such as grief, single parenthood, feelings of helplessness and courage. Projecting a multilingual and multicultural environment, it takes a critical look at the role of people in a society on personal and collective well-being. Each episode explores both new and familiar topics through the eyes of a young teenager. In the classroom, you will be able to build on global skills such as communication, critical thinking and global citizenship through your students' sharing, debating and varying perspectives.
