What is a concussion? This animated clip is designed especially for kindergarten children. It shows children where the brain is located and how it emphasizes its role in our thoughts, emotions, actions and how we can protect it from injury. The child learns to recognize the onset of symptoms and the actions to take at that time. The video provides support to the kindergarten educator team to facilitate the teaching and learning of the knowledge and skills related to concussion (specific expectation 24.1, revised – The 2019 Addendum to The Kindergarten Program).
