La loi du nombre

This episode looks at demography: the study of populations and how they change. We go back in time to 1946, to see the impact of the war on the baby boom, and then the impact of this population growth on the job market. Statistics Canada enables the federal government to analyze population data. We look at the invention of the contraceptive pill and the late 80s, when more women entered the workforce.
