Maya asks Adele and Alexie to comment on a speech she has to give to an assembly of parents and teachers. A discussion about language levels ensues, giving each of them the opportunity to have fun saying the same sentence in four different language levels.

Dorian tells Adele and Alexie that he has just returned from Ottawa, where he had a delicious poutine. Our trio then wonders about the origins of this popular dish.

Adèle tells Elliot and Emma how much she already misses the festivals in Montreal. Emma and Elliot cheer her up by telling her that there are great Francophone cultural events across the country, including in the National Capital Region, Ottawa.

Boris, Elliot and Emma have fun filling out the same questionnaire on Francophone identity, an exercise that leads them to react, exchange and reflect on the different components of their identity and the global Francophonie.

Dorian is excited to share with Boris and Maya that his cousin Loïc, from Gabon, will soon be coming to live with him and his family in Toronto. The trio then explores how the Canadian Francophonie has been shaped by various waves of immigration.
