The City of Ottawa has many organizations dedicated to ecology, such as Alvéole, which is dedicated to the protection and preservation of bees. Forêt Capital Forest, an organization that aims to mitigate the effects of climate change by facilitating the planting of forests, and raising awareness of the importance of trees and biodiversity. As well as the Tucker House Renewal Center which inspires sustainable living, and offers monthly workshops throughout the year.
