Hannah eventually returns to school with the support of her family and the help of Olivia and Natalie. They block the nasty messages and convince the principal to allow Hannah to use the girls' bathroom. The trip home is difficult, but Hannah decides to go on the school trip. Mrs. Fraser tells her that the author of the post is a boy who overheard a conversation between teachers about her. Hannah apologizes to Isabella for not believing her. Isabella makes a veiled threat to Hannah by telling her that she is also going on the school trip.
