In this video, students learn to distinguish between sentence types: declarative sentence, interrogative sentence and imperative sentence. The declarative sentence is used to declare something, tell an event or give an opinion. It ends with a period. The interrogative sentence is used to ask a question and ends with a question mark. It is constructed by reversing the subject and the verb or by using an interrogative word (how much, what, how...). The imperative sentence allows you to act or react. It is used to give an advice, an order or to express a wish, a request, a prohibition. It can end with a period or an exclamation mark.
