Passé composé verbe en er, premier groupe

The past tense expresses a specific action that took place and ended in the past. The aim is to understand how the past tense is formed. The past tense is a compound tense formed with the auxiliary to be or to have conjugated in the present and a past participle. The past participle of verbs conjugated with to be agrees in gender and number with the subject. The past participle of verbs conjugated with have does not agree with the subject. The agreement with the direct object that is placed before the verb will be discussed in another video.
