Human beings have very different skins, especially in terms of color. Everyone has had the experience of having skin that tans after being exposed to the sun. It is melanin (and other pigments) that cause this color change to protect the skin. Tens of thousands of years ago, the first human beings were in Africa and exposed to a lot of sunlight on a daily basis. The dark skin is then the result of an adaptation to climatic conditions. With the various displacements towards places where the sun is less intense, the skin did not need to protect itself as much from the Sun and became lighter. Ideologies that postulate a hierarchy of human beings based on skin color exist and create attitudes of discrimination and hatred. These ideologies have no scientific basis and, on the contrary, all humans have a common ancestor. This is an unacceptable reality that makes the people who are victims of it suffer.
