Three-dimensional organs are already being printed in '3D labs' in the U.S., using a biocompatible gel and cells grown and then artificially assembled. This eliminates any risk of rejection and gives these organs a virtually infinite lifespan. But what percentage of the human body can we reproduce, transplant or replace today?
