On a beautiful spring day, Tip finds a caterpillar in the garden. He brings it home and asks his parents if he can keep his pet. Mom and Dad hesitate, but Tip promises: he'll take care of everything! So Mom and Dad agree, also to test Tip. Indeed, Tip soon has to face the consequences of his choice, realizing that the best place for his new friend to live is in his own environment.
