It's Christmas Eve, Alma's favorite holiday, and she's looking forward to celebrating her family's annual traditions. But when everything goes wrong, Alma is disappointed. Can she still have fun on Christmas Eve when things are so different?

When Alma discovers that the Christmas present she gave Junior is still under the tree, she decides to stop playing with her brother and find him a replacement gift before a big parade. But Junior isn't too happy.
