Mr Germain, Philippe and Ahmed's teacher, gives the boys a letter Malek has written to Khadidja. But Philippe, still furious with Lyes over the tomato-throwing, refuses to set foot in the hut again. Ahmed, Lyes and Khadidja read Malek's letter; they understand that they must find Reinette L'Oranaise, the famous singer. They set off in search of her, unaware that they are being followed in the shadows by young Guy, determined to avenge his father. Will Philippe return to help his friends?
