Faced with her catastrophic grades and following a warning from the administration, Nadie, a field hockey novice, agrees to join her school's team as a goalie in exchange for tutoring from the captain. Far from being convinced, Nadie is ready to take action to regain control of the situation and avoid academic failure.

After a crushing defeat, the school principal questions Nadie's potential. Antoine helps Nadie regain her confidence. Alizée has trouble accepting their defeat and develops an unexpected friendship with Margot.

Alizée goes too far with her frustrations, which causes tension in the team and may affect the next games. Nadie tries to discuss this with Alizée. Antoine listens to Nadie's challenges.

After a shutout, the girls celebrate their victory at Benji's party where passions run high and Margot and Nadie both find themselves with a hurt heart.

Alizée feels a lot of pressure to settle the tensions in her team but especially between her and Margot. A good news received at the winter carnival makes Antoine's feelings for Nadie questionable. For her part, Nadie finds it difficult to see Antoine with Vanessa.

Team Lavallee finds hope when Alizée overcomes her ego to apologize to her teammates and an Olympic idol shows up at practice. Nadie tries to understand Antoine's ambiguous signals when he invites her to his game with Vanessa.

It's the quarter-final and Nadie sees the result of her perseverance. Excited to share good news with Margot, Alizée gets carried away with spontaneous affection. Antoine shows his loyalty to Nadie by reminding her never to sleep on a defeat.
