Karine Ricard is the first black woman to head Théâtre français de Toronto. She has always wanted to see more diversity on the stage. But she never thought she'd have the chance to correct this inequity herself. Originally from Montreal, she left la belle province to settle in Toronto, renowned for its greater diversity on the big and small screens.
