In this episode, discover the story of 12-year-old Etty, a newcomer from Côte d'Ivoire who now lives in Sudbury, Ontario, with her family. Etty mentions that one of the main natural resources found underground in Sudbury is nickel, a resource also found in his home country.
He also shows us the flags of Côte d'Ivoire and French Ontario. He also tells us about the great Francophone immigration to the North, and how he learned to speak English, because bilingualism is necessary in Sudbury. Etty also introduces us to Côte d'Ivoire's most famous dish, fish attieke, which he cooks with his mother.
