Moko is a highly aesthetic art form, which gained worldwide media coverage in the early 2000s. Worn in films and by foreign celebrities such as pop star Robbie Williams and musician Ben Harper, this new international exhibition poses a fundamental question for the Maori people: should we allow our culture to be worn by other peoples?
