Théo le loup
Théo le loup is a series animated by three children of the Indigenous Peoples. Through the various episodes, the three friends use their totem powers to help the inhabitants of Turtle Bay in various unexpected situations. Theo's totem animal is the wolf, Nina's totem animal is the lynx and finally the third main character's totem animal is the bear, for Bruno. Throughout the series, we discover the Seven Precepts that all the natives try to follow as an art of living. Opportunities to reconnect with nature through actions that illustrate each of these Precepts are featured! The educational dimension of this series is rich and varied. The humanities, the customs and traditions of the Indigenous peoples and the array of social and emotional learning make these episodes an invaluable resource. Through the key messages in each episode, students will be able to recognize and manage their emotions, foster positivity, persevere in the face of adversity, build and maintain healthy relationships, foster understanding and emotional stewardship, and celebrate their identity. Positive and respectful relationships and acting with integrity are represented in the transferable competency: collaboration. Respecting opinions and understanding cultural perspectives is the second transferable skill: communication. Finally, self-directed learning is also part of this series as it promotes physical, emotional, spiritual and mental well-being.
