Les bisons d'Earlton, ces géants du Nord
Inès Rebei, ONFR's Northern Ontario reporter, sets out to discover the new territory she's been assigned. Her first stop is the municipality of Earlton, in Ontario's Témiscamingue region, where she visits the largest bison ranch in eastern Canada, the Bison du Nord Ranch. There she meets Pierre Bélanger, the owner and founder, who tells her about the ranch's history and the animal's characteristics. They then head out onto the prairie, where Inès tries to get close to the herd.
Inès also meets Jacinthe Rivard, who explains what parts of the bison's remains can be salvaged. This animal, which once lived in abundance in North America, is non-existent in Inès's native Tunisia.
Will the animal-loving journalist succeed in being tamed by these giants of the North?
