Bienvenue au Canada
Samir, Nour and their two children, Zeina and Fady, attempt to cross the U.S.-Canadian border in their recently purchased U.S. station wagon, without legal papers. Having come within a hair's breadth of being refused entry into Canada, the family head straight for Uncle Georges' house. Zeina is eager to turn the page on their life in Beirut, except for their grandmother, Téta Farah, who has stayed behind. With reunions and happy children, the most important thing now is to find a pied-à-terre in the capital. But unfortunately for the Haddad family, meeting the owners of the property turns out to be more complicated than they thought.
