Loïg Morin had already made a career in music in France before feeling the call of Canada. With his family, his wife Amina and their two boys, they decided to wipe the slate clean and settle in Vancouver. Loïg never imagined he would pick up his guitar again, but circumstances pushed him to create anew. Listening to Loïg Morin, you can hear his French roots. Serge Gainsbourg and the diseurs have a great influence on his pared-down work. In British Columbia, Loïg has met many people who have had a significant impact on the decisions he has made. For Loïg, the advantage of moving away from home is that you dare to take very big risks. If artists tend to question themselves, he believes this is for the best in the creative process. His main fan, his wife, continues to marvel at the sensitivity of her man, who manages to translate into text and music the emotions experienced by others, which continues to seduce her.
